The nationwide strike embarked on by the Nigerian Labour Congress, gained success in Taraba state as all ministries in the state and public schools were closed.
Both academic and non-academic staffs of Taraba State University complied with the industrial action in support of the reversal of petrol price to N86.50.
According to Vanguard, the leadership of NLC in the state under the chairmanship of Mr. Peter Gembo was picketing some offices that were opened at the early hours of the day.
Some banks within Jalingo, the state capital were also closed.
