Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has alleged that Fulani herdsmen are far ore important to President Muhammadu Buhari than the Benue people.

The former Minister and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stated this on Monday in response to Governor Samuel Ortom outcry on the federal government show against various threats by herdsmen in Benue state.

Ortom had in an interview with DailySun, alleged that the headquarters of perpetrators of the Benue attacks and their leaders are based in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

He also accused the Federal Government of not doing anything over herdsmen’s attack in Benue, revealing that the authorities were notified over threats to attack the communities but nothing was done.

But Mr. Fani-kayode in a tweet said: “Gov. Ortom of Benue state says Buhari has "abandoned" the people of his state.

“What did he expect?

“The Fulani terrorists that are killing his people are Buhari's kith and kin and footsoldiers.

“He is their Life Patron. They are far more important to him than Benue state!'
