Ivory Coast international,Gervinho has completed a transfer from Arsenal to Italian side,AS Roma.
The much maligned player at Arsenal,on Thursday sealed a move to Italy for an £8m fee.
“Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Gervinho for his contribution to the Club and wish him well for his future career,” a statement on Arsenal’s website read.
Gervinho joined Arsenal in the summer of 2011,after playing a key role in helping Lille win the French Ligue 1.
In the last two years with the Gunners,Gervinho scored a total of 11 goals,twice helping Arsenal finish in the UEFA Champions League qualification zone.
