Globacom, Airtel and MTN Nigeria have beaten the deadline set by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and paid the N647.5 million fine imposed on them before the close of work on Friday.

Two weeks ago, NCC imposed a fine of N647.5 million on the three major Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) service providers, for failing to meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Quality of Service (QoS) in the month of January 2014.
