Golden Eaglets still needs to improve – Ugbade

With the FIFA under 17 World Cup set to commence next month,assistant coach of Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets,Nduka Ugbade has said that the team still needs to improve.
Earlier on in the week,coach of the side Manu Garba said that they are yet to go for their training tour abroad to finalise preparations for the competition,which is taking place in the United Arab Emirates.
The Golden Eaglets will in the group stages come up against defending champions,Mexico,with Iraq and Sweden the other countries in the group.
In one of their preparatory games,the Golden Eaglets defeated Espanyol football academy 11-0,but Ugbade said they have not yet arrived as they still have some areas they need to work on.
“There has to be a lot of improvement on the physical capacity, technical ability of the players, the team and even the quality of play in the team must improve,” Ugbade told Brila FM.
Nigeria will be based in Al Ain for the group games,and will play its first match against Mexico on October 19th.
