Common myth has held that #Google pays its workers bank, and now new data shows there's truth behind that tale.
Company-review site #Glassdoor released its 2014 list of the top 25 companies for compensation and benefits on Friday and the No. 1 spot went to Google. With high salaries, free transport to and from work, and top chefs cooking their food, the company's employees appear to be satisfied.
"The company really takes care of us professionally and personally," a Google senior software engineer told Glassdoor. "The benefits are incredibly high. My team has been on offsites to Tahoe, Vegas, and Hawaii in the last year. The company creates an environment where you don't really want to leave campus."
