The #Rivers State governor, Rotimi #Amaechi, has dedicated the security award bestowed on the state by Nigeria Security Profile Award (NISPA) for being the most security conscious, to the over 200 schoolgirls abducted in #Chibok, #Borno State.
Amaechi, who was represented by the Rivers State commissioner for information and communication, Mrs Ibim Semenitari, at the award ceremony held at De Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja area of Lagos State, at the weekend, took a swipe at the federal government over security lapses in the country.
He wondered why the country’s security situation still remains as poor as it is.
