Kastina state governor, Ibrahim Shema on Thursday described Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu, the PDP National Chairman as "the PDP recharge engine".

The governor made this known when he led a delegation of the House of Representatives members, chairmen of the 34 local government areas of the state and party stakeholders in the state on a congratulatory visit to Mu`azu.

He said,"We wish you the best of luck in your efforts at repositioning the party since you assumed office. For me, you are PDP recharge engine. You have recharged the party, it is now left for PDP members to start talking.

Shema further said that Kastina state would continue to work and serve the PDP for giving it the presidency through the emergence of Shehu Ya`adua as President in 2007.

"I will remain committed to the party being the only true national party in the country", Shema said.

Ma'azu on his part commended the Kastina state governor for building on the legacies of his predecessor, a situation he noted led to a great development in the state, adding that he would continue to depend on the advice of Shema and other party stakeholders to run the party's affairs.
