National Basketball Association(NBA) have announced that defending Champions,Miami Heat will open the new basketball season with a game against Chicago Bulls in a double-header to kick off the new season.
Heat,last season successfully made it two successive championships on the bounce,and are equally favourites to claim a third consecutive title next season.
Before the game against Bulls,the champions will be presented with their championship rings in South Florida on October 29.
In the other top games,Miami will play San Antonio Spurs at home on January 26 and then in Texas on March 6.
Meanwhile in the West,it will be a Los Angeles affair with Clippers,hosting the first game against city rivals Lakers.
Also in some bit of changes in the NBA schedules,there will be for the first time two regular season games overseas.
San Antonio Spurs will play against Minnesota Timberwolves on December 4 in Mexico City while the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks will square up against each other on January 16 in London.
