Health How many people have Coronavirus in Nigeria?

#1
The first case of coronavirus in Nigeria was reported in Nigeria in late February 2020. The carrier travelled from Italy, via Turkey to Lagos. once in Lagos, he spent a night at a hotel close to the airport before travelling to Ogun state where he was working as a consultant with LaFarge. Once he became ill, the medics acted quickly and he was moved to Lagos for treatment.

Yesterday, we erroneously reported one new case in Ekiti. This was wrong and was caused by an error in the verification process. Therefore, as at April 18 2020, there are 541 confirmed cases, 166 discharged and 19 deaths. Ekiti state has 3 confirmed cases, NOT 4
