Constitutional lawyer, Itse Sagay, on Tuesday, described as a wise judgement the directive from the Presidency barring the State Security Service (SSS) from interrogating former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.
Some Nigerians have been calling for the probe of the former number one citizen of the country over the weighty allegations contained in the controversial letter written by him to President Goodluck Jonathan in December last year.
But Sagay, who warned against such an action, said investigating the former president by the SSS will amount to humiliating him and this, according to him, can have a negative effect on Nigeria’s image before the international community.
