Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Monday according to Vanguard while delivering a speech at the ongoing commissioning of special projects of the Rivers State Government in the state, disclosed that fasting and praying are critical tools needed by leaders to lead their people saying he does it before taking any critical decision.
According to News Diary, he also said the “K-leg” which stopped him from endorsing Governor Rotimi Amaechi as PDP gubernatorial candidate for Rivers State when he was president has been straightened.
Commending the efforts of Amaechi in the state, Obasanjo equally praised his wife for her supportive roles.
“You are the only person who can tame this man, I thank you for what you are contributing to his success and works in Rivers state.” He concluded
