He said: “It is always a good thing to say something and do it. When I said it, I had a feeling I was going to do it. Luckily it happened, so it is so special.”
On playing in front of Arsenal fans once again, Kanu said the experience was a wonderful one.
“It was a wonderful one. The most important thing was to support The Arsenal Foundation and I believe we achieved that.
“It was so special. It has been so long. The good thing is that they [the fans] always give you a cheer when you need it. When they show you love, you show them love.”
