After years of lying about his drug and alcohol addiction, the former heavyweight has come clean about his struggles.
He told the press that “I’m a bad guy sometimes…I did a
lot of bad things, and I want to be forgiven… I
wanna change my life, I wanna live a
different life now. I wanna live my sober life.
“I don’t wanna die. I’m on the verge of dying,
because I’m a vicious alcoholic.”
He said that he has spent the last 6 days sober and he described it as a miracle.
He spoke about contemplating suicide five years ago and how he got the wake up call when his four -year-old daughter, Exodus died in 2009. He said he is working constantly on turning.
