I have been anticipating a statement from the Zamfara chapter of Jibwis, and we strongly disagree with the recent statement by the Governor's spokesperson. Such inflammatory statements have the potential to exacerbate the current unrest in the state.
I urge the state police and DSS to investigate this matter thoroughly, and hold accountable anyone found. It is vital that the authorities take decisive action to ensure that justice occurs.
The people of the state deserve to live in peace and safety.
