The Jamatu Nasril Islam (JNI) yesterday declared that the lecturer of Islamic Studies with Kogi State University Dr. Muhammad Nazeef Yunus who was arrested by the Department of Security Service (DSS) in connection with Boko Haram is innocent of the alleged crime.
The JNI who called for the immediate release of Dr. Nazeef said. There was the need for the authorities concerned to revisit their position on that apparently innocent person and grant him his fundamental freedom.
