Politics Jonathan Departs for Germany, France amidst Continued National Strife

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is to depart for France via Germany in order to take part in the Summit on Peace and Security in Africa, where 50 Heads of State and government officials are expected to take part in the Elysee Palace Summit, an event to be hosted by the President of France, Francois Hollande.

The First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan, is also expected to accompany her husband to France.

The Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki Moon and other representatives of international economic and social organisations are also expected to participate in the conference.
