Super Eagles’ striker Joseph Akpala has expressed confidence in the national team despite the dicey situation of the Eagles in the CAF 2015 AFCON qualifier.

Nigeria will play their remaining games in November against South Africa and DR Congo, and will be willing to win the two games to qualify for the championship in Morocco next year.

“It is going to be a strong game but having said that, we have to work hard to get a win because they (Congo) will not give it to us” Akpala told footballlive.ng.

The Super Eagles have only been able to record one victory in the qualifying campaign which came at the Abuja national Stadium with a 3-1 defeat of Sudan. Nigeria had earlier lost to Congo in Calabar 2-3, drew 0-0 with South African and lost 01 to Sudan in Khartoum.
