The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Thursday said that his administration would not tolerate indiscipline and laziness among civil servants in the state.

The governor gave the warning when he paid an unscheduled visit to the Audu Bako Secretariat in the state's capital. Kwankwaso expressed his dismay over late coming among senior officers in the state's service, warning that government would not condone such attitudes.

He said, “My administration will not condone laziness, lateness and any act of indiscipline. We are committed to improving the welfare of civil servants but look at these offices now. They are mostly empty because all the officers have not come at this time".

The governor urged civil servants to take their responsibilities seriously. (NAN)
