Gospel rapper ’Flame’ has allegedly sued Katy Perry for ripping off his 2008 track titled Joyful Noise for her 2013 hit song Dark Horse.

The 32-year old Hip Hop artist – who was taught in a seminary, said Katy Perry slowed down his song’s high-pitched techno melody and snap-based beat for Katy Perry’s song which was an ode to the 1996 film The Craft.

In the lawsuit, Flame said Joyful Noise has been ‘irreparably tarnished by its association with the witchcraft, paganism, black magic and Illuminati imagery evoked by the same music in Dark Horse.”
