Former Super Eagles player Garba Lawal has warned Nigeria's technical crew against any lapse which could cost the national team qualification for the 2015 African Nations Cup.
Lawal added that Nigeria's slip-up in the last two qualifiers against Congo and South Africa must have helped Stephen Keshi in identifying their deficiencies and what he needs to do to improve the team.
Nigeria lost its first home game to Congo last month and could only manage a draw away to South Africa.
"In football you never can tell, Congo shocked us.I believe we learnt from the Congo game. I think the Coach now knows what to do in the remaining games we have to play,” Lawal told Footballlive.com
He however denied that he has set out to discredit Keshi's work with the Super Eagles,adding that he was only playing an advisory role.
"When I talk I’m only lending him an advise not bashing him,I speak the truth” he added.
