Sports Keshi worried Victor Moses might not be fit to play against Sudan

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has expressed concerns over the availability of Victor Moses for Nigeria's 2015 Nations Cup qualifiers against Sudan.

Moses was substituted with an injury in Stoke City's 3-1 defeat by Sunderland on Saturday.

The Nigerian international has been in good form for Stoke this season since his loan move from Chelsea, and has assisted most of their goals, but he made way in the game on Saturday, with fears that he could miss the trip back home for the qualifiers.

“I was naturally worried to see him (Moses) get injured (on Saturday). He’s been in good form and I just hope that the injury is not that serious because we need him for those important games against Sudan,” Keshi said.

Moses is set to have some medical tests today to determine the extent of the injury.

Nigeria will host the first leg of the qualifiers against Sudan this weekend, then travel to Omdurman for the return leg next week.
