Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has asked Governor Babatunde Fashola to explain the whereabouts of the $13 billion Lagos money his predecessor, Bola Tinubu, sunk into the stillborn ENRON electricity project, which never saw the light of day due to its sudden liquidation few weeks after the said money was purportedly expended.
The PDP, in a press statement by its publicity secretary, Taofik Gani, while reacting to Governor Fashola’s call on Lagosians to vote out PDP if they must enjoy uninterrupted electricity, a statement the governor was reported to have made at his 2600 days celebration in office recently. He described Fashola as a man who would conceal all the dirt and frauds in the state, especially those that concerns his predecessor.
Wondering why Governor Fashola is always diversionary in his incompetence in governance, Gani noted that his attitude to get merely theoretical and ordinary on issues with areas of speciality has exposed his actual depth of knowledge, challenging Fashola to proffer engineering solutions rather than playing politics.
