Feyi Agagu, the son of late former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Agagu, survived the plane crash crash that claimed several lives yesterday. Femi Akinsanya, a son in-law to Dr Agagu also survived the crash.

According to Vanguard, Ebenezer Alabi, Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ondo State confirmed the survivors after the family decided to proceed with funeral rights as planned. He said: “We just consulted with the family and have decided to go ahead with the burial".

“More so, the son of the former governor survived and the son-in-law survived. There was no scratch on the casket.".

PUNCH also reported that, Feyi spoke normally when his friends, led by Jide Obanikoro, the son of a former Nigeria’s ambassador to Ghana, Musiliu Obanikoro, visited him at the Surgical Emergency ward of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja where he and other victims of the Associated Airline plane crash were rushed to on Thursday.

He had a neck support and some bandages but he giggled when he saw his friends wearing worried faces.

While being wheeled to the Intensive Care Unit for a body scan, the victim threw his right thumb up to his friends, saying ‘nothing do me’.

The son-in-law, Mr. Akinsanya was also seen on another bed talking with about seven of his relatives
