Lagos State Police Command said its operatives have arrested three more suspects in connection with the abduction of three female students of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The three suspects were said to have been arrested at the weekend in a hotel where they were allegedly hiding.

They confessed to police that they were in charge of cooking, feeding and ensuring that the girls didn’t escape.
The police had earlier arrested three suspects – Emmanuel Arigidi, James Henry and Akanju Oluwasegun.

The arrest of the three men brings the total number of suspects in police custody to six. But among the six, four were said to be confirmed members of the kidnappers gang.

The schoolgirls – Timilehin Olosa, Tofunmi Popoolaniyan and Deborah Akinayo – were kidnapped by gunmen while they were reading in one of their classrooms at night.
