Former Chief Security Officer to late Head of State Gen Sani Abacha, Hamza Al-Mustapha, has challenged former president Olusegun Obasanjo to a public debate over allegations he made in his letter to President Goodluck Jonathan.
Al-Mustapha was convicted of murder by a lower court but acquitted by the Court of Appeal. There were rumours that the federal government had discouraged an attempt to take the case to the Supreme Court, an allegation it had denied.
