Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna central Senatorial district has advised President Muhammadu Buhari and other African leaders to relate co-equal with the European Union leaders in a way to address the root causes of migration and slavery between the two continents.

Senator Sani gave the advice in a tweet on Wednesday morning.

This is coming at a time the world is discussing migration issues and moden slave trades been witnessed in Libya and otther part of the world.

He said: “ #AUEU African leaders shouldn't speak to European leaders like the colonized and the colonizer; they should relate as co equals and find ways to address the root causes of migration and Slavery that has today cast a dark shadow over the two continents”.

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in Abidjan, the capital of Cote D'Ivore with other leaders to discussion continental issues at the 5th AU-EU summit.
