READ: Trouble As Boko Haram Abduct More Girls in Borno

This wouldn't be the first time the Nigerian government is choosing to remain silent after a major incident. In April 2014, when school girls were abducted from Government Secondary School, Chibok in Borno state the government had stayed silent for days until public outcry grew too loud to silence.

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently out of the country and official channels are neither denying nor acknowledging this recent abduction. Even the Borno state government is yet to issue a statement.

Meanwhile, co-founder of the #BringBackOurGirls Campaign, Obiageli Ezekwesili is currently engaging the government on Social network and urging them to act now.

Is the Muhammadu Buhari administration toeing the same line as the Goodluck Jonathan administration?
