The wristwatch is an important piece of wearable we can’t afford to do without. It’s an important timepiece that helps us keep track of time and we all know the popular idiom ‘’Time and tide waits for no man.” The first sets of timepieces were pocket watches, which were spring powered and portable enough to be carried in the pocket. Technology has evolved over the years and currently we have computer powered watches that provide services well beyond the traditional time-keeping role.

The prices of some of these luxury wristwatches are way above the means of the middle class. Some of the price tags on these watches are in 7 figures, and the currency I am basing the cost on is the USD. I can’t seem to fathom why a timepiece weighing a few grams could match the value of an ultra-modern mansion.
