Kaduna lawmaker, Sen Shehu Sani has taken to Twitter to expressed his thoughts on political appointees and where their loyalties lie. He opined that political appointees should be based on individual merits and not godsons or goddaughters.

We can never have appointees with 100% loyalty to d president & service to d nation, when appointees must be from Governors or Godfathers.
Its natural for political appointees to be more loyal to d Governor or Godfather who recommended them than the President who accepted them.
If the President want 100% loyalty and service,he should appoint People based on their individual merit who will work for the country.
If the President appoints a person into office based on merit , the politicians will say 'we don't know this "alien person" you appointed'
