A middle-aged man was stabbed to death on Friday by a security guard for allegedly intruding into a girls secondary school in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State, Punch reports.
The guard was said to have accosted the victim and three others and questioned their mission when he noticed their suspicion movements in a bush within the college.
It was gathered that the other suspected intruders ran away as soon as they noticed something had gone wrong.
One of the students who spoke with Punch correspondent, when effort to get comments from the school management prove abortive, said she was surprised to find the body of a lifeless man on the ground when she and her colleagues came out to find out what was amiss.
The guard, along with two other security guards were said to have been apprehended by police officers from the Oba Market police station.
