Militants have attacked Somalia's parliament building in Mogadishu.
BBC reports that people were seen lying on the floor, taking cover while security forces moved in, exchanging gunfire with the attackers.
Mohamed Omar, a lawmaker who was inside the parliament building said that the attack was perpetrated by Al-Shabaab militants wearing military uniforms and suicide belt.
