National Chairman, People Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Ahmed Muazu on Saturday in Bauchi promised to ensure a level-playing field for all party members in the forthcoming 2015 elections.
“PDP shall regain its glory if there is justice, fairness and equity entrenched by ensuring a level-playing field for all members aspiring for elective positions, as well as appointments,” Muazu said.
He said he would equally ensure that he reconciled all the aggrieved members and bring back defectors, so as to move the party forward.
“One of the main task ahead of me as the national chairman of the party, is to ensure that all our members who defected to the opposition party, returned to PDP, “he added.
He however advised all aspirants wishing to contest elections within the party, to go back to their wards and get the support of the people at the grassroots.
He solicited for the cooperation and support of all stakeholders in the state, the North-East zone, and the country at large, for success to be achieved.
