Business Multichoice awards Logo Competition winners

Nigeria’s major cable television service provider, Multichoice Nigeria, has announced the winner of its 20th anniversary logo competition. The winner, Kanso Ogbolu, a 27 year – old Nigerian, who works as a graphic artist in Lagos, emerged the winner after shaking off competition from 17,000 entries.
Ogbolu received a cheque of #1,000,000 (one million naira) and one-year free DSTV subscription. The managing director, Multichoice Nigeria, Mr John Ugbe, while appreciating the inventiveness of Ogbolu stated that the anniversary logo competition was one of the ways the pay TV hopes to leave a legacy of its two decade of business in Nigeria in the heart of subscribers and Nigerians.
The competition ran from June 3-17 and rewarded two runner-ups with the first runner up receiving #500, 000 and six months free DSTV subscription and the second runner-up receiving #250, 000 and three months free DSTV subscription.
