Mrs Omolola Abiola-Edewor, the Executive Director of Corporate Services in Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), at the first management parley with female staff of the corporation in Lagos, on Tuesday called on organisations to promote gender equality in the workplace.
She encouraged female staff to seize every opportunity to boost their career development and sharpen their skills and also commit to their work just as they manage their homes.
Abiola-Edewor said that gender streamlining was a global phenomenon and called on those in management to give necessary support and encouragement to women. (NAN)
