The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has donated relief materials to victims of flood in Katsina State.

The flood had wrecked havoc to certain local government areas in the state, rendering hundreds homeless and property, including livestock and farmlands, dead and destroyed.

Represented by NEMA’s North East coordinator, Alhaji Musa Illallah, the NEMA Director General, Alhaji Muhammed Sani Sidi said that the flood had been caused by the collapse of the Kankia Dam. He called upon to people to desist from erected structures on waterways in order to curb future occurrences of the disaster.
