Sports NFF to decide Eagles camp-site for World Cup on Friday

The Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) has said that it will decide on Friday, the camp site of the Super Eagles in preparations for the 2014 World Cup.

This was revealed by the Media Officer of the NFF, Ademola Olajire on Wednesday in Abuja, who said that the decision was delayed to enable the association finalise all arrangements concerning the team.

Olajire explained that it would have been improper for the NFF to announce the camp site when the agent was yet to conclude the camping arrangements.

"It is obvious that the Eagles will camp in the U.S., but we will announce the city by the end of this week.

"I am in touch with the agent and he will finalise the arrangements by Friday," he told the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN)

Olajire hinted that the NFF has no financial commitment in the eight-nation tournament in which the Eagles have been invited to participate, adding that the organisers, MLS has already explained to the NFF on the national team's involvement.

Cote d' Ivoire, Nigeria as well as one of the country's World Cup Group F opponents, Bosnia-Herzegovina, are part of the tournament.

Other participants are Spain, Greece, Honduras, Bolivia and El Salvador will participate in the eight-nation tournament which will kick off May 27 and end on June 10.
