The National Human Rights Commission on Thursday said it would probe the death of a former President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Prof. Festus Iyayi.
Iyayi died on Tuesday in an accident involving the convoy of Kogi State Governor Idris Wada on the Lokoja-Abuja highway.
The commission’s Chairman, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, who made this known while featuring on a Channels Television programme, Sunrise, added that the confinement of Clara, wife of Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime, would form part of the deliberations of the NHRC council in December.
