Nigeria’s female Basketball team,D’Tigeress will soon open their training camp in preparations for the Afrobasket Women’s Championship.
According to a list of programmes released by the Nigeria Basketball Federation(NBBF) the team will first open a combined camp in Abuja from 12-25 of August,and two days later will proceed to Lagos for some friendly games from 27-31.
They will afterwards travel abroad for some training tours,which will see them play in some parts of Africa and also in Europe from 3-17 of September.
The team is scheduled to touch down on the 18th of September in Maputo,Mozambique,where the tournament will take place.
Nigeria alongside the host country Mozambique and also Angola,are the top seeded Basketball teams in the championship.
