AN International Monetary Fund mission visited Nigeria between November 13 and 26 to conduct discussions for the 2013 Article IV consultation.
The mission, according to a statement by the World Bank, met with the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi; senior government officials; members of the legislature; and representatives of the private sector with a verdict that Nigeria’s economy did very well during the year.
