Metro Nigeria: Air Force Announces Promotion of 72 Senior Officers [See Names]

The Nigeria Air Force Council has approved the promotion of 78 senior officers to the next higher ranks.

Fourteen Air Vice Marshals, 19 Air Commodores and 45 Group Captains were promoted.

Those promoted to the rank of Air Vice Marshal include

1. Air Component Commander OPERATION DELTA SAFE, Air Commodore Paul Dimfwina;
2. Commander Presidential Air Fleet, Air Commodore Saddiq Kaita;
3. Director of Legal Services at the Defence Headquarters, Air Commodore Mahmoud Ahmed;
4. Chief of Accounts and Budget at Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Clement Ogbeche
5. Principal Air Staff Officer to the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Commodore Abubakar Bagare.
6. Air Commodore Mohammed Idris,
7. Air Commodore Charles Oghomwen,
8. Air Commodore Napoleon Bali,
9. Air Commodore Remigus Ekeh,
10. Air Commodore Abdulganiyu Olabisi,
11. Air Commodore Ibukun Ojeyemi,
12. Air Commodore Bello Garba,
13. Air Commodore Tunde Awoyoola
14. Air Commodore Cletus Udeagulu.

The air force said the promotions are in line with one of the key drivers of the vision of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar.
