Nigeria beat 11 Countries to Win Entrepreneurship Competition

Will the inclusion of Entrepreneurship in Nigerian school curriculum help in reducing unemployment?

Nigeria won the Students for Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) World Cup 2013 competition. It was declared that Nigeria was leading in the integration of entrepreneurship in school curriculum.

Nigeria was represented by Junior Secondary School (JSS), Jikwoyi, Abuja, which came first in the Social Enterprises Business (SEB) category and University of Calabar International School (UCIS), Calabar which
came second in the Social Responsibility Business ((SRB) Category.

Other countries that participated in the competition included: USA, Uganda, Kenya, South Korea,Singapore, Rwanda and Russia.

SAGE is aimed at advancing youth entrepreneurship and community service.
