The Super Eagles of Nigeria have begun their campaign of the African Cup of Nations with a 4 - 1 over the Mena of Niger in group C.
After enduring a goalless first half, Osas Okoro put the eagles in front with a beautiful volley. Chisom Chikatara made it two 15 minutes to the end of the game with a thunderous shot.
Adebayor pulled one back for Niger five minutes later but the Super Eagles struck a minute later- Chikatara tapping inn after a delightful cross again from Osas Okoro.
Chikatara struck again after 90 minutes, slotting home from close range to finally gets his hattrick.
In the other group game, Tunisia played a two all draw with Guinea.
