A Kaduna journalist, Jacob Dickson who has been in prison custody for the past five days regained freedom yesterday, Daily Trust reports.
Jacob, who was arrested and imprisoned by security operatives on the order of governor Nasir El-Rufai for an alleged inciting report said he was treated like a Very Important Person (VIP) by the prison officials during his detention.
He commended the Executive Members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) lead by Comrade Garba Muhammad and his other colleagues for putting up a fight which prompted his release.
