Metro Nigeria: List of States Owing Salaries and Number of Months Owed

According to the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) 23 states are currently owing local government workers salaries of up to 16 months.

  1. Bayelsa state- owes 10 to 16 months
  2. Kogi - 7 to 15 months
  3. Delta - 8 to 14 months
  4. Kaduna - 12 months
  5. Oyo - 3 to 11 months
  6. Edo - 10 months
  7. Abia - 5 to 9 months
  8. Kwara - 2 to 9 months
  9. Benue - 9 months
  10. Nasarawa - 7 months
  11. Ondo - 6 months
  12. Ekiti - 6 months
  13. Imo - 6 months
  14. Adamawa - 4 months
  15. Rivers - 4 months
  16. Akwa Ibom - 4 months
  17. Ebonyi - 4 months
  18. Plateau - 4 months
  19. Taraba - 3 months
  20. FCT- 3 months
  21. Enugu- 1 to 3 months
  22. Osun - been paying half salaries for 24 months
  23. Cross River- about 700 workers are owed for between 1 to 3 months
  24. Zamfara - hasn't implemented minimum wage

sometimes, I wonder if the news of govt. owing workers 3months and above are true. but the bitter truth is that they are fucking really true.
some people called governors are so callous. how would you owe 6, 10, 14, 24 months.. arhhh.. only God can give an ultimate judgment.
 
This is crime against humanity. All this governors owing their workers collect monthly allocation from Abuja. People can now see why we said that nigeria state will never work and you can as well see why southeastern states has refuse their governors speak for them. Nnamdi Kalu will keep speaking for us. Alegbesola will go to hell fire. This man has no conscience
 
No salary up to 15 months even my State plus hardship currently on ground. Governors are collecting their salaries, allowances, doing some projects. This is so callous of you.
