Metro Nigeria, others to witness solar eclipse today -National Mirror

A partial solar eclipse is anticipated to occur in most states of Nigeria at about noon today. The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) made the prediction at a press conference held in Abuja over the weekend.

The director-general of the agency, Prof. Seidu Mohammed, described eclipse as a natural astronomical event with no significant negative implication, and urged Nigerians to remain calm as the eclipse will not hinder normal activities.
