Business Nigeria: Petrol Sells for N200/Litre in Sokoto as Scarcity Bites Harder

Fuel scarcity in Sokoto state has risen to a different level as fuel stations remain closed after NUPENG suspended its strike.

The petrol station of independent marketers are however opened at night and they sell the commodity at N180 to N200 per litre, Daily Trust reports.

Moreover only very few stations belonging to the major marketers are selling fuel and they are characterized by very long queues.

Black marketers sell a four-litre gallon between N1, 200 and N1, 800.

Members of the public have continued to lament the situation which they said was affecting their socio economic activities and causing untold hardship to them.
