The Assistant Inspector-General of Police Abdulmajid Ali, the AIG in charge of Zone 2 Command, Onikan, has ordered that mental test be carried out on policemen in the command.

According to him, this was necessary in order to “avoid any accidental discharge or extrajudicial killing," by policemen in the course of duty.

He also ordered that all personnel of the command undergo a drunkenness test as well.

I like this. A step in the right direction. Some of our policemen are something else

He should start with the senators and house of rep members.

The only test they need in the police is to determine why anyone would want to join the Nigeria Police Force - no salary, no equipment, no training, no uniform, no incentive, no security, abysmal training camp, no housing, no education, no respect.
