The Federal Government of Nigeria has reportedly reopened First Consultant Hospital in Obalende, the hospital where Liberian Patrick Sawyer, the man who imported the Ebola Virus into Nigeria, died.

The hospital was shut down over a month ago after the Liberian died of the deadly disease. Dr Adadevoh and nurse Ejelonu also got infected in the said hospital and also later died.

In a letter sent to the Lagos state Ministry of Health, the Federal Government said the hospital had undergone three rounds of state-certified sanitization processes in line with the world standard.

As a result, the hospital is now free to continue its professional health care services to patients, DAILY POST reports.
