The United States has condemned the terrorist bombing at a mosque near Maiduguri in which many people were killed and injured.
In a press statement released by US Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria, the country expressed its ‘deepest condolences to the families of the latest victims of Boko Haram’s senseless brutality’.
The statement added that the United States ‘will continue to support those affected by Boko Haram’s violence through ongoing humanitarian aid and victim support services; saying it remains committed to assisting its partners in the Lake Chad Basin region who are leading the fight to end Boko Haram’s wanton violence and restore peace.
